Still Waiting on SB12

Linda Siegle, lobbyist for Equality New Mexico just dropped by the press gallery to tell us that there's a substitute bill that takes out all references to marriage, spouses, widows, etc.

This is to try to satisfy concerns of religious groups, Siegle said. I asked her if she thinks it will change any votes. She said she didn't know.
